Bike trails such as the Ammer-Amper-Radweg, as well as the RadlRing München lead directly through the town of Dachau. The historic old town, nestled on an elevation and crowned by a former Wittelsbach castle is well worth visiting. Many visitors also take time to see the concentration camp memorial site, located about three kilometers from the town center.
